From CDMX to São Paulo: Powering a New Era of Cross-Border Commerce

Caliza was proud to sponsor a panel this week in CDMX on strengthening commercial ties between Mexico and Brazil, two countries that are increasingly important trading partners in a rapidly shifting global economy. The conversation highlighted a trend we’re seeing more broadly: global trade is realigning.

Countries that once relied heavily on the U.S. are actively diversifying. China, for example, is now shifting soybean imports away from the U.S. toward Brazil and Argentina. These are not just policy decisions. They signal the emergence of new corridors and new commercial realities.

For businesses across Latin America, Asia, and Africa, this creates both a challenge and an opportunity: how to efficiently enter new markets and manage global operations across currencies, borders, and regulatory systems.

That’s where Caliza comes in. We’re building the modern infrastructure businesses need to move capital quickly and compliantly in emerging trade corridors, from local payment rails to dollar accounts to 24/7 FX. As the map of trade continues to evolve, companies will need partners who can help them adapt and scale.

Thanks to CAMEBRA (Cámara de Comercio México-Brasil), Consejo Mexicano de Asuntos Internacionales, and all who joined us for the conversation. We’re just getting started!
